Nationwide and International Service of Process

Nationwide Service

You make the choice!
Either we can forward your process to one our associates or we can recommend one of our associates to you if you prefer to deal with them directly.  All of our associates are members of the National Association of Professional Servers and our network is committed to making every diligent effort to serve you process within 24 hours of receipt and for fees that are fair and competitive.

Many of the "process serving" companies listed at the top of the search engines, businesses that promise to serve your documents nationwide for a set fee, are nothing more than clearinghouses.  These paper-mills forward your process to servers who bid the lowest price for serving your papers.  Your case and client deserves better than the lowest bid.  Our network will provide you with the most professional service available, at or below the national rate quoted by the clearinghouses.

International Service

 There are four ways to effect international service of process.

1. The Hague (most European countries are signatories, but not all);
2. The Inter-American Convention (most South American countries);
3. Letters Rogatory (those rogue nations like Lebanon);
4. Private Agent.

Formal service (not Private Agent) is usually the correct method because this is the only way to enforce a judgment in the foreign court.
The only time that Private Agent service is appropriate is if say, for example, somebody in the US is just looking for a divorce from somebody who has skipped the country and they aren't going after assets in the foreign country.

Rush and Immediate Service

Our process servers are equipped with laptops and printers in their vehicles.  When "immediate" service is required, we will, without delay, E-mail or Fax the paperwork to our servers in the field.  When rushes are directed to areas of Washington DC that are gridlocked in traffic, (DC gridlock is 3rd worst in the nation) we have two Harley Davidson's that knife through the tangle of DC traffic and can park anyplace with ease.
