With over 25 years of experience, Stryker Investigations conducts nationwide asset search investigations for attorneys, law firms, and judgment creditors — locating the bank accounts, brokerage holdings, real property, and business interests that determine whether a case is worth filing, whether an offer is worth taking, and whether a judgment is worth pursuing.
When attorneys bring Stryker in
- Before filing. Confirm there is something to collect before your client commits to the cost of litigation.
- Before settling. Evaluate a settlement number against what the defendant actually holds.
- After judgment. A judgment is a milestone, not a payment. Locating assets is what turns one into the other.
- In probate and estate matters. Identify accounts and holdings the family didn't know existed.

What you receive
A written report documenting what was found, where it was found, and what was searched but not located — the negative findings matter as much as the positive ones when you're advising a client on whether to proceed. Findings are presented so counsel can evaluate them, rely on them, and build the next step of the case around them.
Conducted within the rules that govern your practice
Financial information is not public record. Stryker conducts every investigation within the framework attorneys are held to — the Fair Credit Reporting Act, the Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act, the Right to Financial Privacy Act, and the applicable Rules of Professional Conduct — and only where a permissible purpose exists. Findings obtained properly are findings you can act on without creating a second problem for your client.
Meet the founder — a licensed California private investigator
Stryker Investigations was founded and is led by a licensed California private investigator with more than 25 years in litigation support and pre-litigation investigation. Her practice was built around a single standard: findings have to hold up. That means documented sources, defensible methods, and a clear line between what the investigation established and what it did not — because counsel is going to rely on the report in front of a client, an opposing party, or a court.
Her casework reflects the complexity attorneys bring to the firm. She served as lead investigator in Comerica Bank v. Floyd Reid (2009), conducted a whistleblower investigation for the Orange County District Attorney's Office (2010), and worked a high-profile matter that drew regional news coverage in 1999.
Professional memberships
Stryker maintains active membership in the organizations that set the standards for licensed investigators in California and nationally — a commitment to ethics, continuing education, and current practice in a field where the rules governing access to financial information change:
- California Association of Licensed Investigators (CALI)
- Professional Investigators of California Association (PICA)
- International Association of Special Investigative Units (IASIU)
- Bar Association of San Francisco (BASF)
