The concept for Trauma Scene Abatement originated for Joan Dougherty, President of AA Trauma Cleaning Service in 1982, after a family tragedy.

AA Trauma is an elite specialty restoration company that addresses this critical issue of biohazard abatement. Today there are Laws and Regulations in place for handling and disposing biohazard and medical waste, which are potentially infectious agents. All our technicians are experienced and trained in trauma scene abatement, containment, deodorization and disposal of potentially infectious materials. To maintain the highest level of service, our technicians take continuous training courses.

State of the art professional restoration equipment and EPA registered hospital grade disinfectants are used to properly sanitize the affected area. Level C personal protective equipment is used by all the technician during the remediation.

OHSA Training: Hazwoper 29 CFR 1910.120: Hazardous Materials Incident and Waste Site Training.

OSHA Training: 29 CFR 1910.134: Respirator Standard

Certification of Attendance: HIV / OSHA / TB

NIDR (National Institute of Disaster Restoration: Certified Restoration

Technician Intensive Course of Study in Restoration Technology: Unsmoke System & Procedures

Fire & Smoke Restoration: Certified by NIDR and IICRC

Water Loss Technician: Certified by NIDR

Deodorization/Odor Removal: IICRC

Upholstery & Fabric Cleaning: IICRC

Ozone (03): Certified in technical knowledge and use of ozone
