About Robert W. Brown of Pacific Northwest Investigations:
Since his discharge from the Marine Corps in the late 60s, Mr. Brown has been a police officer, death investigator, defense attorney, prosecutor, college professor at Montana State University (criminal law and procedure), police trainer and Judge. He retired from the Bench in September of 2002 and is currently a member of the Montana Bar, and the Federal District of Montana, as well as a licensed investigator in Oregon. Additionally, he holds a Masters Degree in Forensic Science and has been designated an expert witness for both civil and criminal cases involving: Use of Force (both police and civilian), Jail Practices, Search and Seizure, and Police Policies and Procedures. He has acted as a Legal Consultant for trial tactics and forensic scientific analysis. Having been a trial lawyer, his emphasis in any investigation is focused on trial preparation, both evidentiary and testimonial. Given his background, he clearly recognizes the necessity of have clear and accurate evaluations and information at all stages of litigation.
